• 1 Cor 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare
unto you the gospel which I preached unto
you, which also ye have received, and wherein
ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye
keep in memory what I preached unto you,
unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which
I also received, how that Christ died for our
sins according to the scriptures; And that he
was buried, and that he rose again the third
day according to the scriptures:
By His Resurrection

including judgment Acts 17:31
• Assures our resurrection II Cor. 4:14

Our Final Resurrection
• Basics (Heb 6:1-2) Therefore leaving the
principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on
unto perfection; not laying again the foundation
of repentance from dead works, and of faith
toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of
laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the
dead, and of eternal judgment.
• Sadducees denied the resurrection Acts 23:8
• Some taught it was already over II Tim. 2:18
I Corinthians 15:12-23
• Our resurrection is tied to Jesus’ 12-13
• If no resurrection then:
• Our preaching is vain 14
• Your faith is vain 14
• We are false witnesses 15
• Your in your sins still 16
• The dead perished in their sins 17
• We are miserable 18
Our First Resurrection
• Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were
the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from
the heart that form of doctrine which was
delivered you.
• Form: death, burial, and resurrection
• Gal. 2:20 crucified yet living (resurrection)
• Col. 2:12 burial when we die to sin
• Rom 6:3-5
• Know ye not, that so many of us as were
baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized
into his death? Therefore we are buried with
him by baptism into death: that like as
Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should
walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the
likeness of his death, we shall be also in the
likeness of his resurrection:
• 1 Peter 3:20-21
• Which sometime were disobedient, when
once the longsuffering of God waited in the
days of Noah, while the ark was a
preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls
were saved by water.
The like figure whereunto even baptism
doth also now save us (not the putting away
of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a
good conscience toward God,) by the
resurrection of Jesus Christ:
