2011-MODEL TAMPA BAY INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW BRINGS AUTOMOTIVE SIZZLE
TO TAMPA CONVENTION CENTER
Hundreds of New Cars, Alternative Fuel Vehicles, Ride & Drives, Hollywood Cars and More
TAMPA, Fla. – (November 10, 2010) The 2011-Model Tampa Bay International Auto Show drives automotive excitement into
the Tampa Convention Center Friday, December 3 through Sunday, December 5 with the latest cars, crossovers, trucks and
more. From the latest alternative fuel vehicles to test drives in new models, this automotive extravaganza offers all that is hot
on four wheels for consumers in the market for a new car, as well as families and car fanatics.
Attendees are invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, sit behind the wheels, inspect engines
and learn about new fuel-saving automotive technologies. Cruise through the auto show floor and check out the latest hybrids
including Honda CR-Z, Honda Insight, Hyundai Sonata, Lexus HS, Toyota Prius and more.
Showgoers are invited to hop behind the wheel of the latest models from Chevrolet, Buick and GMC at the Experience the
Drive Ride & Drive. More than a dozen new model vehicles will be available for test drives including the Chevrolet Camaro,
Chevrolet Equinox, Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid and more. Ride and drive hours are Friday,
December 3, from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 5, from 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m.
Attendees will get an up-close look at amazing SEMA vehicles including the Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Concept. With a
widened body and 35-inch-tall off-road tires, this truck is ready to hit the berms, dry washes and gullies of the Baja Peninsula.
Featuring carbon fiber inside and out and a 550-horsepower supercharged engine, this is one capable off-road vehicle.
The Tampa Bay International Auto Show will also showcase the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray concept car, recently featured
in the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The Stingray combines styling cues from current Corvettes, the 1959
Stingray racecar and the 1963 Stingray split-window coupe.

The Tampa Bay International Auto Show will offer a special sneak peek at Black Beauty, the automotive star of the upcoming
movie The Green Hornet™, coming to theatres in 3-D on January 14, 2011. This 1960’s Chrysler Imperial will be a hit with
both car fans and film buffs.
Additionally, several other Hollywood automotive stars will be on display including the 1969 Dodge Charger General Lee from
the TV series Dukes of Hazzard, 1981 DeLorean from Back to the Future, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, The
Flintstones’ Flintmobile and the Grinch Golf Cart from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, courtesy of the Dezer Collection.
Stunning exotics, specialty cars and celebrity-owned vehicles are exciting to see. Check out a Bentley Continental GT

Lucky Ducky Derby benefiting Feeding America Tampa Bay, a regional food bank that provides food to dozens of
organizations. Ducks will float, bobble and bounce off each other as they compete to reach the finish line at the Tampa

The Tampa Bay International Auto Show, featuring more than 100 models recently debuted or redesigned, is presented by the
