Guidelines for Medical and Leave Travel Assistance to Employees-

1. Medical Assistance:-

   a) An employee shall be entitled to claim reimbursement of medical expenses
incurred(for self and his family) every year at the rate of 8.33% of the Basic Salary earned
in a financial year or part thereof.

 b) Original medical bills have to be submitted to the company for making such claim.

  c) The claim may me made in two installments in a year. However the first claim for a
year shall be made only after September or six months of service period whichever is later.

 d) Unclaimed medical bills may be considered for reimbursement in succeeding years.

 e) An unavailed or unclaimed entitlement shall be carried forward to succeeding years.

 f) All the annual or cumulative payments shall be subject to the prevailing Income Tax
     law.

 g) Claim for outstanding cases shall also be processed in accordance with these guidelines.

2. Leave Travel Assistance:-

 a) An employee shall be entitled to claim reimbursement of travelling fare incurred (for
    self and his dependants) under a privilege leave every year at the rate of 8.33% of the
    Basic Salary earned in a financial year or part thereof.

 b) Description of the travelling along with reasonable supporting for the expenditure
    has to be submitted for making such claim.

 c) An unavailed or unclaimed entitlement shall be carried forward to succeeding years.

 d) All the annual or cumulative payments shall be subject to the prevailing Income Tax
    law.

 e) Claim for outstanding cases shall also be processed in accordance with these
    guidelines.

3. Notwithstanding as aforesaid –

  a) An employee may claim the entitlement of one head under another head (partly or
  fully) on the basis of expenses incurred.
b) In absence of medical expenses or no leave travel, an employee may claim the entitled
benefit as an allowance without any tax exemption.
