Choose WordPress as your hosting platform. When you‘re starting a blog, the most popular
options for your hosting platform are Google Blogger and WordPress. Google Blogger is free to
join, and you can advertise on it by using tools such as Google AdSense. However, the design
options and templates are limited using Blogger compared to the ones offered with WordPress.
Plus, Google owns your blog, meaning they can shut down your blog without warning if you
violate their terms of service.

If you’re looking to start a professional blog, using WordPress is the way to go. If you want to
advertise on your blog, though, make sure you choose WordPress.org, since you aren’t allowed
to advertise on a WordPress.com blog. To sign up for a blog on WordPress.org, it usually has a

Get a domain name. Which is catchier for introducing your blog at a business party:

course, the former is. That’s why it’s smart to invest in a domain name. It costs anywhere from
