       EXPRESSSION OF INTEREST FOR EMPANELLMENT OF
                CONSULTANTS / ARCHITECTS


Department of Tourism intends to empanel reputed consultants /
architects in various categories like – development, conservation,
restoration, horticulture, civil works, landscaping, feasibility reports
etc. "Expression of Interest" is thus invited from leading/ reputed
experienced architects / consultants - individuals, firms & companies
working in these areas. The scope of work includes-

  a.   Survey / study of existing sites / properties, drawing up site and
       existing engineering plans, recording areas of distress / damages
       and photo documentation,
  b.   Proposals for restoration and development thereof.
  c.   Preparation of preliminary project reports / detailed project
       reports / estimates
  d.   Undertaking construction based on such proposals and
  e.   Undertaking supervisory consultancy during construction

  The application along with above details and demand draft of Rs.
  50,000/- towards earnest money payable in favour of
  Commissioner, Tourism, Rajasthan, Jaipur in a sealed envelope
  must reach to this office on or before 03.00 PM on 24.08.09. The
  applications duly received would be opened on the same day at
  04.00 PM. Full details can be seen on the website

Terms and           conditions        for    empanelment             of
consultants

Department of Tourism intends to empanel reputed consultants /

etc. "ex-pression of Interest" is thus invited from leading/ reputed
experienced architects / consultants - individuals, firms & companies
working in these areas. The scope of work includes-

  b. Proposals for restoration and development thereof.
  c. Preparation of preliminary project reports / detailed project
     reports / estimates
  d. Undertaking construction based on such proposals and
  e. Undertaking supervisory consultancy during construction which
     includes quarterly or more frequently progress reports as per
     requirement, quality control, preparing construction control
     manual, Quality assurance plan and quality control provisions
  f. Ensure that executive agency of the project undertake all the
     works as per the Detailed Project Report and comply to all
     standards, specifications, obligations specified in the DPRs,
     applicable laws, Permit conditions of competent authorities, and
     guidelines on heritage Conservation etc.
  g. Ensure that executive agency of the project carry out quality
     assurance tests at such time and frequency and in a manner as
     may be necessary in accordance with Good Industry practices
     and submit the results of such test to the DOT. They shall
     supervise; monitor the results of tests to determine compliance
     of the Project with specifications and
     standards and carryout certification.
  h. Examine and certify any change in scope of work of project and
     get it approved by competent authority in DOT.


PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR EMPANELMENT:-
Interested individuals / firms / companies are required to submit the
following details on their letter pad along with self attested
documentary proof for the under mentioned particulars :-

  1. Complete details about applicant including type of field of
     operations and list of personnel with their educational/ technical
     qualifications and experience, organisational structure.
  2. For Conservation / Restoration Category applicant should have
     qualified Conservation Architect with Master's Degree in
     Conservation.
  3. Details about turnover, net worth and financial strength of the
     firm. Copies of the balance sheets of last 5 years to be attached.
     (Minimum turn over for last 2 years should be Rs. 20.00 lacs per
     year)
  4. Experience of the applicant in the related field (as an
     independent or as an associate with others) -Minimum 5 yrs.
  5. Details of similar works executed showing size, cost, time period
     and type of services provided- Minimum 5 in last two years
  6. Testimonials from clients worked with regarding satisfactory
     completion of the assignments.
  7. List of the clients with whom applicant is empanelled for such
     projects for last 5 years.
  8. Any other information deemed fit by the applicant.


  The pre-qualified applicant can be asked for making a A-V
  presentation at Jaipur for which no expenses would be born by the
  State Government. The application along with above details and
  demand draft of Rs. 50,000/- towards earnest money payable in
  favour of Commissioner, Tourism, Rajasthan, Jaipur in a sealed
  envelope must reach to this office on or before 03.00 PM on
  24.08.2009. The applications duly received would be opened on the
  same day at 04.00 PM. In case any clarification is required, the
  office of undersigned can be contacted during office hours.

  The Commissioner, Tourism reserves the right to accept or reject
  any or all the offers without assigning any reasons thereof.
