There are many reactions from people all over the world over NASA plans to bomb the moon on October 9, 2009. The mission were planned long time ago and was every expensive, tough there is no real exact figures, it is estimated about half-billion dollars.
The mission named LCROSS (Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite) will blast off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, carrying a missile (a Centaur rocket) that will blast a hole in the lunar surface - a crater close to the Moon's south pole. Officially NASA announced that their Moon Bombing is not using explosive material, but it is still no clear whether the missile itself is nuclear powered or not.
You might ask what is that “something” which really important that US don't want other nations to know about? Another conspiracy theory is related to the reason behind it. It is all about Alien thing.
These are the objects that US government didn't want to show the public when Neil Armstrong landed his feet on Moon surface.

As we all know that NASA had spent million of dollars to build a project to communicate with Extraterrestial life (Alien). However, that peace mission was no luck and no prominent result. This Moon bombing is another effort to communicate with the Alien. If a peace message was not responded, this brute force message (bombing their artifacts) might give them some attentions.
