Full Spectrum Reshapes Newport Aquarium
Award-winning lighting design/AV Production Company introduces state-of-the-art new
technology to Kentucky’s Newport Aquarium

Atlanta, GA – June 7, 2011: Full Spectrum, LLC has recently completed a series of
upgrades and installations to the Newport Aquarium in Newport, Kentucky. The
company installed and programmed a new lighting, audio, video, and custom control
system for the Aquarium’s newly renovated penguin exhibit, Penguin Palooza. They
provide turnkey services, including System Design and Engineering, all aspects of the
installation, and on-site programming. The new system runs a custom-made show
produced exclusively for Penguin Palooza.

Just prior to the Penguin Palooza project, Full Spectrum’s team designed, installed and
programmed a brand new audio system that provides background music throughout the
entire Aquarium. The system was designed to support audio for up to 16 different zones
within the Aquarium complex, with custom audio content for each zone. It was also
designed to support various audio and control inputs from different locations, effectively
creating a truly all-in-one system.

The new audio system was designed to be extremely flexible, allowing the Aquarium to
change music and/or inputs to accommodate special events, such as the occasions
when the facility is used for rental purposes for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers,
and similar functions. Full Spectrum provided turnkey services, from equipment
specification and procurement to installation and programming.
