For our family, respite stays at Canuck Place are a wonderful time when we can relax
knowing that Gabriel is so well taken care of. Many of our stays relate to symptom
management, where things are more intense because there are medical problems that
need to be resolved. These visits are invaluable because we’re receiving needed medical

At Canuck Place, we’ve learned everything we needed to know about pain management
and how to alleviate Gabriel’s discomfort, which I think is paramount for any parent.
