To the League Membership …
Tonight you will be voting to approve the prize list for the 2009-2010 season. The Prize Committee received seven lists and, after carefully reviewing them, have recommended these four for consideration. Every league member present tonight is permitted one vote; those members absent are not allowed to cast a vote. A majority of votes cast must be obtained in order to approve a prize list. If a majority is not reached on the initial voting, our league rules stipulate that all but the two receiving the most votes, including ties, will be dropped and a second vote must take place. The ballot has a spot for each team member. Please indicate your vote by writing its number next to a “Team Member” spot and submit this to Bob on lanes 37-38 before the end of the first game. When both teams on your pair of lanes have submitted their ballots for the initial voting, you will get your recap sheet. If a majority is not reached, a second ballot will be distributed to the teams and an announcement will be made regarding which prize lists remain in consideration for approval by the league. I would like to thank the members of this year’s Prize Committee who did a wonderful job: Sharon Alsop, Krista DiVenere, and Rob Ransom.
