2nd Annual Pasta, Poker and Pets Party 2009
Dear Friend, You may have recently seen the extensive coverage about the escalating number of home foreclosures in the Valley. This has forced many homeowners to find new homes for their pets. Unfortunately, some are moving without their pets, leaving them behind in the backyard, abandoning them in neighborhoods or leaving them on the side of the road. Right now our Valley is inundated with literally thousands of “foreclosure pets”. We are taking action. A group made up mainly of real estate professionals has answered the call and is working to stop this unthinkable occurrence. We are “Lost Our Home Pet Foundation”. Our mission is to be a source for real estate professionals and others when they encounter a pet in need. ♠ To rescue, rehome, and advocate for pets that have been abandoned or left behind due to foreclosure or eviction. ♦ To provide options for families to keep their pets if hard economic times are making it difficult to keep or care for their pet. ♣ To promote spaying and neutering. On Saturday, October 10, 2009, at 6 p.m., Lost Our Home Pet Foundation invites you to attend its fundraising event to learn more about this essential rescue group and have fun. The event will be held at the beautiful DC Ranch Community Center (Homestead) in Scottsdale, Arizona and will include cocktails, a delicious pasta buffet from Buca Di Beppo, a poker tournament, as well as a silent auction. Here’s where we need you. We hope that you will consider a donation toward this important fundraiser. We are looking for items with a minimum value of $100. For in-kind donations over $200, your company name will appear on our website, as well as your name and logo (if provided) in the event program and on the silent auction label. All profits will go to the Lost Our Home Pet Foundation to help achieve their important mission.
