Starting along the Grand Union Canal, we then follow footpaths to Syston Mill and join the River Soar. We
proceed to Cossington village and church, then, continue to Sileby Marina. Once across the River Soar we
walk towards a garden centre before emerging onto the old Leicester to Loughborough Road. We leave the
road and walk towards Cossington Mill. Then, proceed to Wanlip village and enter Watermead Park, looking
at King Lear's Lake and the Reed bed area. Stout walking boots recommended. Families with children over
