Monday, September 3

          The FCC will be closed in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

Tuesday, September 4

     The WRC-03 Advisory Committee, Informal Working Group 6: Public Protection and
Other Issues will meet at the FCC, 445 12th Street, SW, Rooms 7-B112 & 7-B142 (7th Floor
North Conference Rooms), Washington, DC, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Friday, September 7

      Commissioner Michael J. Copps will speak at the National Association of
Broadcaster’s (NAB) Radio Show Policymakers’ Breakfast, the Ernest N. Morial
Convention Center, New Orleans, LA, 7:30 am – 8:45 am.

       OET will host two tutorials on new spectrally efficient techniques at the FCC, 445
12th Street, Room TW-C305 (Commission Meeting Room), Washington, DC, 9:30 am –
12:00 noon and 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm.

Sunday, September 9

      Ken Ferree, Chief, Cable Services Bureau (CSB) will be the keynote speaker at the
general opening session for NATOA’s 21st Annual Conference, the Loews Hotel, Miami
Beach, FL, 1:30 pm.

Monday, September 10

     Jane E. Mago, General Counsel will participate on a panel at the NATOA 2001
Annual Conference, at the Loews Hotel, Miami Beach, Florida., TBA.

     The North American Numbering Council will meet at the FCC, 445 12th Street, SW,
Washington, DC, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Wednesday, September 12

      Ken Ferree, Chief, CSB will participate on a panel, “There’s a New Sheriff in Town:
What the New Administration Means for Legislative and Government Relations,” at the 15th
Annual National Association of Minorities in Cable (NAMIC) Conference, at the
Millennium Broadway Hotel, New York, NY, 10:15 am.

      The North American Numbering Council will meet at the FCC, 445 12th Street, SW,
Washington, DC, 8:30 am – noon.

Thursday , September 13

     The FCC will hold an Open Meeting at the FCC, 445 12th Street, SW, Washington,
DC, 9:30 am.

    Tom Sugrue, Chief, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) will speak on a
panel at the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association Wireless I.T. & Internet
2001 Conference, the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA, 11:30 am.

    The Interoperability Subcommittee and Technology Subcommittee of the Public Safety
National Coordination Committee will hold a joint session at the FCC, 445 12th Street,
Room 1-B516, Washington, DC, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

     The Implementation Subcommittee of the Public Safety National Coordination

Thursday, September 20

Telecom Training Initiative (ITTI) 2001 Annual Conference at the Bally’s Hotel, Las

      The Advisory Committee for the 2003 World Radiocommunication Conference, will
meet at the FCC, 445 12th Street, SW, Washington, DC, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Tuesday, October 2

     The Region 42 (Virginia) Public Safety Planning Committees Announce First Region
42 700 MHz Regional Planning Meeting and Region 42 800 MHz Regional Planning
Meeting (PR Docket No. 91-300), the Holiday Inn Hotel, Tanglewood, 4468 Starkey Road,
Roanoke, VA, 2:00 pm.

Monday, October 8

       The Region 49 (Central Texas) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee will
hold its first meeting at the City of Austin Learning Resource Center, 2800 Spirit of Texas

Saturday, November 17

       Jane E. Mago, General Counsel will be participating on a panel, “The FCC Versus the
