CC Gate Credit Card Gateway Service
CC Gate provides merchant gateway or terminal type services for
merchants wishing to debit or credit a customer’s credit card. The
web-based terminal can be accessed at https://secure.ccgate.net. The
gateway itself is located at https://secure.ccgate.net/chargecard.asp.
CC Gate can handle up to 1000 simultaneous charges for a single
account. Most transactions require between 3 to 6 seconds for
approval. Typically, approved transactions are the fastest and
declines are slower.
You must have an account with CC Gate to use the gateway, hence the
need for login/password. Please apply using the form at
https://secure.ccgate.net/newmerchant.asp. This will create a new
account within our system. If you already have a merchant account or
require a new one, please follow up with an e-mail to
Once your account is established, you may login to the web system using
your login and password. This will also be the login/password that you
use when posting to the gateway.
You may debug any application built to access CC Gate’s gateway with a
valid login/password and by setting the mgw_debug parameter to 1. This
will not record the transaction or actually credit or debit the credit
card account. It will return successful if the amount specified is
even, or decline if the amount is odd (even = 20.00, odd = 13.00).
Please do not stress test our production server. If you need this type

These values must be submitted to the gateway using the POST method.
Additionally, if a url is not specified then a comma delimited string
will be returned with the results specified, in the order specified
CC Gate Response Values
The format of the response values is a comma delimited text response.
If the mgw_url parameter is specified, then the results are url encoded
and placed in the querystring of the redirect (hence, “Position” refers
to comma delimited values and “Name” is the name of the name/value url
encoded pair in the querystring):

U = Address information is unavailable
W = 9 digit ZIP matches, Address (Street) does not
X = Exact AVS Match
Y = Address (Street) and 5 digit ZIP match
Z = 5 digit ZIP matches, Address (Street) does not
6 mgw_transid This number identifies the transaction in
the system, and can be used to submit a
modification of this transaction at a
later time via HTML form POST (such as
voiding the transaction, or capturing
an Auth Only transaction).
7 mgw_translen Transaction time to completion in seconds
