                                      Ecological Impact Assessment

One of the many special features of Forest School is that sessions are held in the same
area of woodland over a period of time, allowing the children to become very comfortable
in and knowledgeable about the area. Although this is very positive for learning, it can
have an adverse environmental effect due to over use of an area.

Your ecological impact assessment should
   1. Describe the woodland,
   2. Identify the factors which will have an impact on the woodland

Complete the following table and include two maps –
  1. One small scale map (map 1) showing the location of the woodland
  2. A second larger scale map (map 2) of the woodland area which shows the location
     of factors where appropriate.
