TITLE 6100 - PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
6182 - RETIREMENT.
6182.04 - Responsibility. The Regional Office, Personnel Management staff shall
arrange for printing and signature of all retirement certificates. Forest Offices
should furnish the Regional Office retiring employee's name, total years
Government service, and date of retirement as soon as retirement is confirmed.
Completed certificates will be returned to the Forest Offices for appropriate framing
and presentation.
Retiree Identification Cards. The Regional Forester shall sign all cards. Forest
Offices should send completed identification cards to the Personnel Management
staff for signature.
When completing the cards, use "Region 2" for the location, not the city or Forest;
date of retirement; and Regional Forester on the line over the title.
The cards shall be plasticized and returned to the Forest Office for presentation.
Additional Forest Service retiree identification cards can be requested from the
Regional Office, Personnel Management staff.
