Introduction to Judaism
Taught by Professor Shai Cherry of Vanderbilt University About the Lecturer: “Professor Shai Cherry is the Mellon Assistant Professor of Jewish Thought at Vanderbilt University. He holds a Ph.D. from Brandeis University. Dr. Cherry’s research focuses on biblical interpretation and the nexus between science and Judaism. He has received numerous awards for his work in community education and continues to teach across the United States and in Israel. He is the author of several articles.” About the Class: This class will be taught via DVD’s available from The Teaching Company. Class will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The class will consist of a 30-minute video lecture and a time of discussion.
