Pearson AnyConnect VPN: Connection guide for
computer and laptop users

About this guide
This user guide is for employees using the AnyConnect 3.0 SSL VPN on a
computer or laptop with a Windows, Mac, Linux or Ubuntu operating systems
(for more information on compatible operating systems, please scroll to the
end of this guide).
How to connect to the AnyConnect VPN
1. Open the AnyConnect VPN tool from your computer desktop (the icon
appears in the ‘desktray’ on PCs and in the Dock on Macs )
2. Choose either portal (vpn1.pearson.com or vpn2.pearson.com) from
the drop down menu and click Connect.
3. You will then be prompted for your Active Directory username and
password (this is the usual ID you use to login to the Active Directory).
Fill in your details and click OK.
4. A message window will open to confirm that you have successfully
connected to the VPN.
