PURPOSE

The purpose of this section is to establish responsibility for specialized accreditation and licensing as
required for selected academic programs within the College and to present for information those programs
currently accredited or licensed under the provisions of this procedure.

PROCEDURE

The College currently has several programs which have specialized accreditation and/or licensing
approval. A list of these programs are presented herein for information.

It is the responsibility of the Assistant Deans, and Program Managers, with the knowledge and consent of
the cognizant Dean and Provost, to prepare the application for, to complete the requirements of, and to
maintain accreditation and licenses as required for programs under their administrative direction.
Central Administration support services as required in the completion and review of documents required
for the accreditation process are available from such offices as Placement and Follow-up, Institutional
Research and Curriculum Services. Procedures relating to these offices shall apply in requesting and
receiving the desired services.

All program accreditation or licensing documents should, prior to submission, be reviewed
administratively. Programmatic data will be reviewed with the President's staff by the Vice President of
Instruction and fiscal data will be reviewed with the President's staff by the Vice President of Administra-
tive and Business Services. The documents will be modified as appropriate based upon additional
information coming out as a result of this review process.

All submissions pertaining to accreditation or licensing shall be prepared for transmittal over the
President's signature.
