The Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI) Region IV Chapter in
coordination with the DENR - Environmental Management Bureau Region IV will hold its
7th Biennial PCAPI R4 Chapter PCO General Assembly on October 20, 21 and 22, 2010 at
the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), Sungay East, Tagaytay City.

This year’s theme, “PCOs: STEPPING UP TO THE CHALLENGES OF CLIMATE
CHANGE”, aims to highlight the role of the PCOs in the implementation of industry’s
programs and projects on adaptation and mitigation of global warming.

In this regard, we would like to invite you and your Pollution Control Officer to attend this
General Assembly (PCO/s from CALABARZON/MIMAROPA & OTHER REGIONS) as well.

These three-day event highlights shall be:
   Global warming adaptation and mitigation updates
   Region IV Environmental Updates
   Industry’s programs and projects on adaptation and mitigation on Global Warming
   Exhibits on pollution control products and equipment, companies offering environmental services
    on transport, laboratory, treatment, disposal, remediation, EIA, IEE, etc.
   The search for this year Outstanding PCO and Success Environment Story Award
   Fellowship and networking with other PCOs and environmental practitioners.

Your attendance to this activity shall be considered as an accredited training that can be
used as one of the requirements in the renewal of you Permit to Operate. We hope to receive

Also, we invite you to send your nomination for our first search of PCAPI R4 Outstanding
PCOs and Success Story Award. Attached are the criteria and the application forms for the
selection of PCAPI R4 Award winners and the program for this year assembly. We look
