Misco is a multinational computer and technology provider and part of the Systemax group, which in
turn is a Fortune 1000 company with over 5,000 employees.

I work at the head office in the European Web Marketing team. My role is to create and maintain
web content and systems to promote the latest campaigns and deliver optimum conversion rates.

Main Skills and Responsibilities
      Design daily email campaigns to business, consumer, education and public sector markets
      Create and develop various branded and category specific web sites to the latest accessibility
       and SEO standards.
      Produce design proposals for online marketing campaigns
      Create up to the minute campaign pages and traffic driver banner ads liaising with affiliate
       companies for internal and external hosting.

Shoosmiths is one of the UK’s largest law firms with over 1450 employees. I worked in the I.T
department of 60 and as part of a team of 8.

Main Skills and Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, maintain and support the firm’s websites to high professional standards.

Examples
    Shoosmiths website rebuild
     Shoosmiths re-launched their website (shoosmiths.co.uk and shoosmiths.co.uk/recruitment)
     in May 2008. My skills allowed me to have sole responsibility for:
      translating all designs to CSS templates whilst ensuring compatibility in all major browsers
      implementing CMS technology (RedDot CMS to Administrator level)
      design, build, site testing and ongoing support
      implementing feature enhancements resulting in increased traffic by over 350% and traffic
         from search engines by over 780%

      Microsites
       I have built microsites offering tailor-made services to clients to provide easy access to legal
       services. I took responsibility for:
        creating and project managing the design, build and launch of various extranet microsites
        liaising with Partners and management at all levels to deliver sites that exceeded client
           expectations, were on budget and delivered on time.
      Intranet
       Shoosmiths’ Intranet is an essential firm wide daily used tool. My responsibilities included:
        Maintenance, development, technical and design support for Shoosmiths’ Intranet and its
           50+ Web Publishers using SharePoint Services and Designer.
        Leading and implementing the latest redevelopment to re-brand and re-structure the site.
        Integrating Shoosmiths’ various systems and providing web access through the intranet.

Awards for websites I developed include:
   Best Legal website – Intendance Fast50 report
   Shortlisted for Best Recruitment Website – The Lawyer 2007

2. HTML emails
I produced cross browser HTML emails to promote and update clients on various projects.

3. Application customisation
Shoosmiths use a number of web based applications for both internal and external clients. I re-
branded and customised all web applications to strengthen the firm’s brand and values and to
enhance usability. The main systems covered were:
    InterAction by InterAction - Portal for Shoosmiths client relationship management system
    View Point by Visual Files - External client facing financial case management system
    ShoosmithsInteractive by Hummingbird - External client facing document management
      system

4. Ad-hoc systems support as required
I delivered 3rd line support for an array of systems across the firm in line with ITIL protocols.

VODAFONE AIRTOUCH, JULY 1998 – APRIL 2000, RETAIL OPERATIONS CO-
ORDINATOR
Vodafone Airtouch is the world’s leading international mobile telecommunications group.

My role within the company was as follows:
    Production, design and development of the internal magazine which was distributed to 249
       retail outlets nation-wide and via the Intranet.
    Liaising with Vodafone and Cable & Wireless Management to resolve procedural queries.
    Distribution of Cable & Wireless point of sale material and advising upon their display.
    Production of sales analysis to advise management on commission and resolve claw back.
