St. John’s will be honoring the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, who
taught at our school from 1923 through 1988, in celebration of
their 200th Anniversary. The Sisters continue to do considerable FINGERPRINTS

Holy Angels Church Fall Seafood Dinner
On Sunday, September 9th, 2012, from 11:30 am until 4:00 pm,
Holy Angels Church, Avenue, will be serving a delicious Seafood
Dinner. The menu includes: Fried Oysters, Steamed Spiced
Shrimp, Crab Balls, Fried Chicken, Parsley Potatoes, Green Beans,
Cole Slaw, Pickled Beets, and all the trimmings! Served buffet
style -- all you can eat! Adults - $25.00; Children (12 to 6) - $8.00;
and Children (5 & under) - Free. Carry Outs available at $23.00
each. Advanced tickets are also available for $23.00 each. There
will also be Delicious Homemade Desserts and Craft Sale! Raffle
Prizes – 1st Prize – $1,000.00 and 2nd Prize - $500.00 will be drawn

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY CLASSES-
Financial Peace University consists of an 8 week video curriculum
taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey. This is a life-changing
program teaching people to achieve their financial goals by
eliminating debt and saving for the future. Financial Peace
University is highly entertaining for everyone, with a combination
of humor, informative financial advice, and biblical messages.
People will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for their
money and change their family tree forever. Financial Peace
University provides biblically based commonsense education and
empowerment which gives HOPE to everyone from the financially
secure to the financially distressed. Class materials and lifetime
membership is $95 per family (husband, wife, teens, individuals
and engaged couples). PREVIEW and registration will be held
after 9:00 and 11:30am Masses on August 26th in the St. Jude
Room. Class is every Wednesday, September 12th through
