The mission of the Reactor Physics Division is to:

   –   Promote the advancement of theoretical,
       applied, and experimental research in reactor
       physics
   –   Seek a better understanding of reactor physics
   –   Seek a better understanding of reactor
       operations and in-core fuel management
       through the development and application of
       fundamental tools
   –   Encourage improvement in basic physical
       data
   –   Support testing of tools and data in reactor
       experiments
