One World Foundation for Development and Civil Society Care is established in 2005 as an Egyptian Non-
governmental, non-sectarian and not-for profit organization. It's an initiative launched by some of young
Egyptians, who have good background in Democratic issues, particularly advocacy, human rights, public
participation in Egypt. One world foundation for development and civil society care is freshly established
organization building its work on collaboration with other civil society actors. It seeks an equal opportunity

The program Coordinator is a member of the senior management team of OWF.
Major responsibilities of the position
Strategic planning and program development
Contributing to the strategic planning of organizational and programmatic development.
Contributing to the defining of OWF priorities and development of its general plans;
Providing leadership and daily management of OWF 's programs and Projects under the direct
supervision of the Executive Director.
Developing plans for programs and activities in coordination with concerned staff members;
Monitoring and supervising the implementation of the programs and projects.
Proposing and developing strategies for the development of OWF S financial resources in the
framework of the general plans and strategies;
Supervising the processes of drafting project documents and fund raising;
Other managerial tasks
Development of human resources including recruiting of staff members and consultants, defining
Continuously build an atmosphere of trust, loyalty, and motivation, instill a sense of ownership of
projects and results in staff
Lead staff and management team meetings; participate in admin and fundraising meetings.
Supervision of budgeting, drafting of financial reports and annual accounts
University degree in relevant field (e.g. political science, human rights law, development).
Knowledge of and experience in several of the following fields:
Human rights standards and international humanitarian law
Project cycle (design, monitoring, management and evaluation etc.);
Familiarity with the current work of human rights groups and defenders in Egypt
and the Arab region;
Office, personnel and financial management
Fluency in oral and written of both Arabic and English.
Advanced communication skills (oral and written) and proven ability to draft
clearly and succinctly;
Computer knowledge (MS Word, Internet, Power Point)
Ability to establish and maintain contacts with NGOs, donors, representatives of inter-governmental
institutions and to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Analytical skills, resourceful and
organised work practices with capacity to deal effectively with changing priorities, ability to keep deadlines
and deal with several projects simultaneously as well as ability to work under pressure.
At least 5 years of experience in relevant field with at least three years of experience as a team leader
in the field of human rights;
Readiness to travel within and outside the region.
Readiness to work extra hours when required.
Salary: the remuneration will be commensurate with the experience of the applicant
and competitive rates in Egyptian NGOs
