1. This agreement refers to the photograph(s) and/or artwork as follows:

       the terms of my employment, to grant to ASCE a nonexclusive, perpetual,
       irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to His/Her Majesty’s
       interest in the copyright for the following purposes (see A below):
A. For inclusion in a:

Engineering magazine. The intact article may be distributed, published, and republished
in all media and all formats now known or hereafter devised (including but not limited to
paper copy, CD-ROM, e-book, Web site publication, and compilations of the same) on a
worldwide basis;

B. to sublicense such rights to the magazine’s printer to post the magazine on Civil
Engineering’s Web site.

3. I also declare that to the best of my knowledge and belief the photograph(s) and/or
artwork does not infringe on the copyright or other proprietary rights of any third party.

4. I understand that my submission of the photograph(s) and/or artwork does not
guarantee publication. If the photograph(s) and/or artwork is withdrawn, rejected, or not
published within two years after acceptance, the license is revoked.
