I-PACS II OFFICE RELOCATION SERVICES
A. Background:
Counterpart International (Counterpart) is implementing the Initiative to Promote Afghan Civil Society
(I-PACS) program funded by USAID under Cooperative Agreement C.A. 306-A-00-10-00534-00. I-
PACS Program aims to increase the role and viability of civil society in Afghanistan by providing
capacity building, training and small grants to civil society organizations showing potential to be
sustainable and effective organizations.
B. RFP Scope of Work
Counterpart requires the services of a company specialized in location and office assets moving services.
Property and assets to be moved under this Request for Proposals (RFP) include generators, iron build
huts, office furniture, IT and other equipment, office files and documents and other assets. Relocation
and moving services will be between two Kabul based locations.
C. Period of Performance and Type of Contract
Counterpart will enter into a Firm Fixed Price Contract with the successful company. The Contract will
be executed for the period starting on about 06 September 2012 and ending no later than 15 September
2012.
D. Submission of Questions and Site Visits
Questions regarding clarifications on this RFP shall be in writing and must be submitted to
razzaq@counterpart-afg.org with a cc to masood@counterpart-afg.org and desi@counterpart-afg.org.
All interested companies are invited to request and schedule a site visit to Counterpart’s office location
so that their staff can assess the discussed office relocation and movement needs and prepare their
proposals. Site visit schedule requests are to be addressed to razzaq@counterpart-afg.org with a cc to
masood@counterpart-afg.org and desi@counterpart-afg.org . Please use I-PACS II Office Relocation
Services in the subject line when requesting for a site visit to be scheduled.
E. Submission of Proposals and Selection of Successful Company(ies)
After a competitive bidding and an assessment of price proposals received from qualified companies,
Counterpart will appoint one or more companies under this RFP.
All qualified companies are invited to express interest and submit price proposals for Office Relocation
Services. Preference may be given to companies that offer most competitive price proposals covering all
part of work and those that guarantee completion of assigned services within the most competitive
timeframe.
Interested companies are invited to provide portfolio of their services, list of clients, samples of products
and any other information in support of their proposals.

Proposals should include detailed price list stating the individual cost of each separate service offered
under this Request for Proposals and a proposed Work Schedule identifying timeframe for each separate
service offered, related deliverables and deliverables due dates.
All proposals should include the following information:

All interested qualified companies must submit proposals and other relevant enclosures directly
responsive to the terms, conditions, specifications and requirements of this RFP to the below address:

The proposal documents should be submitted to the above address in one sealed envelope inclusive all

Proposals received after Thursday, August 30, 2012 01:00 PM Kabul Time may not be considered.
