Everyone enjoys grocery shopping except for the paying part. Everything can add up so quickly
that you won’t even notice it until all the money in your wallet is gone. The good news is, there
are tips for you to cut your grocery bills without sacrificing the things that you really need.

 Take advantage of a Friday evening- this may be an unusual thing to do because
usually, people do their shopping very early and not at night. But if you do this after
eating your dinner, there’ll be less people and you’ll avoid the rush hour in the
supermarkets that usually happen before dinner time. You’ll be able to pick up the items
easily without the trouble of arguing with other customers or staff. Also, buy items that
are on quick sale because of restocking.

 Choose the right kind of meat- meat can be very expensive especially if you opt for
the best and the softest cuts of meat. So instead of getting the prime cut steaks, chicken
breasts, go for drumsticks or chicken thighs and casserole meat. This will save you a lot
of money as soon as you are paying up in the counter; though it may take you some
more time to cook it. Steak cuts compared to casserole steaks can save you about $ 10
per kilo, if you go for the cheaper ones, you’ll be able to put up some side dishes too.

 Buy veggies according to their season- veggies aren’t easy to grow especially during
the winter season, and as we all know, buying veggies out of season will be more
expensive because you’ll be paying for the transportation, force growing and the storage
of the produce. You don’t have to follow everything on the menu just because it calls for
it; there are always substitutes for certain veggies that you can look for. Buy your
sprouts, peas and Brussels in spring, green beans and tomatoes are cheaper in
summer, while root vegetables are best for winter. Be wise and buy your vegetables at a
       modest price.

 Eat before doing the grocery shopping- going to a supermarket hungry will only make
you buy unnecessary food along the way. This will prevent impulse shopping while
walking down the aisles. If you shop with a full stomach, you’ll be calm and you’re brain
won’t be thinking about your grumbling stomach all the time. You will be able to make
rational decisions about what you really need to buy rather than buying junk that won’t
keep your fridge and cupboard stocked for quite some time.

Follow these tips to lower your food bill everything you go out to restock your shelves. Also, if
you’re planning to use your cards, make sure you check your 3 credit scores first to make sure it
is fit to be used, and pay all of your bills on time.
