Motion: John Weinand moved for approval of the Agenda. Dennis Havlicek seconded the motion. Upon
the vote, the motion carried.

Cindy Walters introduced students Brittany Wark (FFA), and Saria Abdelfatah (SkillsUSA), who both
spoke of their experiences in these organizations and the CTE classes they attend at Carver-Scott
Educational Cooperative. The KARE 11 “What’s Cool in Our Schools” segment was also shown to the

5.1 Overview of FY13 Budget
Darren Kermes and Tom Wieczorek reviewed budgetary considerations and reductions for FY13.
5.2 Administrative Organizational Chart
Darren Kermes presented an updated administrative organizational chart for FY13.
5.3 Purchased Services – Eastern Carver County Dist. 112
Darren informed the board of the decision by Eastern Carver County District 112 to offer Targeted
Services and the Magnifying Abilities program entirely through their district.
5.4 Equity in Property
Tom Wieczorek discussed member district equity in property.

6.1 Terms and Conditions of Employment
MOTION: Deb Pauly moved approval of the following contracts: Administration; Clerical;
Custodial; Gail Egan; Bonnie Schanzenbach. John Weinand seconded the motion. Upon the
vote, the motion carried.
6.2 Leave of Absence Request
MOTION: John Weinand moved approval of a 3-year leave of absence for Jeff Theis, effective
July 1, 2012. Dennis Havlicek seconded the motion. Upon the vote, the motion carried.
6.3 Permission to Hire Staff
MOTION: Deb Pauly moved approval to hire one additional teacher for the Stepping Stones
program. Dick Tirk seconded the motion. Upon the vote, the motion carried.
6.4 FY13 Calendar
MOTION: John Weinand moved approval of the FY13 calendar. Deb Pauly seconded the
motion. Upon the vote, the motion carried.
MOTION to Adjourn: Dennis Havlicek moved to adjourn the meeting. Rich Schug seconded the motion.
Upon the vote, the motion carried. Time of adjournment: 7:00 p.m.
