					How to Fix Damaged Thumbnail Image

Thumbnail is a small display on the image / photo display while you're opening a folder or windows
explorer. This feature can be easier for you to find a picture / photo in your folder. Thumbnail size large
or small can be changed by using certain software or through the registry.

Ever, a thumbnail on your computer when you are experiencing a problem can not display images?

Thumbnails are not showing pictures can be caused by many reasons and hence the virus, the file has
been corrupted, or the default mode setting 'tiles'.



Exception because the file has been damaged / corrupt, this trick can help you to display thumbnails on
your computer again with the help of the registry.



Here are the steps:

1. Go to the Start menu> Run, then type Regedit. and Enter

2. Once entered into the Registry Editor, open the following folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE
\ Classes

3. Click the folder. Gif in a row underneath the folder, then on the right of the screen right click select
New> Key (or Edit menu> New> Key). Then it will be made a new folder on the left.

4. At the prompt New Key # 1, replace the name with: ShellEx. then Enter

5. Then again select New> Key.

6. New folder will be created under it. Name the folder with: {BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-
00C04FC2D6C1}. then Enter

7. On the right, click 2x on the word 'default', fill: {7376D660-C583-11d0-A3A5-00C04FD706EC} on the
box contents. Click OK and restart your PC
