Position: General Financial Secretary

General Financial Secretary
Develop a system of reporting and accountability of all funds placed in the General Treasure.
Give a receipt for all monies received for the National Church and turn funds over to the
Treasurer for deposit.
Keep an accurate record of all receipts and payment authorization for the Treasurer’s Financial
Prepare all payment authorizations as approved by the Executive Board and secure required
Shall record all deeds and contracts.
Receive and store records of all financial reports from the Annual/District Conferences and
District and National Rescue.
Serve as Staff member of the Finance Committee of the General Board
Will be required to prepare and present a full financial report in the National Religious Congress,
the International Quadrennial Congress and annually to the General Board. The report must
include an accurate record of all receipts, deposits and authorization for payment.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree an asset
2 years experience in the field of financial reporting
Computer proficient in MS spreadsheets and databases
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, integrity, respect for
confidentiality, sound judgment and decision making skills.
Willing to travel
Must be willing to attend the National Schools of Prophets
