Dear Dan,

I wanted to drop a short note to say a great big "thank you" from myself and our
congregation for the food drive the Scouts did a few weeks ago. They did and excellent
job and brought in an impressive amount of food. The food was divided up between the
Friendship Center in Des Moines and the Red Rock food pantry that is house in the
Nevlen Community Center here in Ankeny. The Friendship Center in an inner city
resource that regularly supplies clothing and food to those in need.

We value having the Boy Scouts as being under the umbrella of the ministry of our church
and we look forward to a long a fruitful partnership with them. I spend many of my
teenage years involved in the Scout troop that was a part of my home church in Atlanta. I
have many fond memories of those times of growth and learning. Much of that still
impacts my life even today. I'm still a pretty good knot tier.

In Christ,

Dennis N. Bradley
