                                                  Dear Church Family,

                                    When we were in Pearlington, Mississippi on our first mission trip, I
                           heard the phrase “prayer walking” for the first time. Pastor John led us down
PHYLLIS DANIELS 5 some streets and he told us that instead of talking, whatever we see pray for
MACK HAIRR 8 that. For example as you pass each house and see someone in the yard, pray
JIMMY FANN 8 for that family. When you see a baby stroller in the yard, pray for that child,
MIKE NICHOLAS 8 etc. It is something I will never forget. This was only about six months after
DAWN NICHOLAS 10 Hurricane Katrina and Pearlington was still in a huge mess. I had never seen
HAL TEW 10 that kind of destruction on that level in person. But I can tell you that after

NICOLE JONES 11 I was thinking about that and thought I could adapt that mentality to

      You Are Often In My Thoughts

             Love is a command
       That Christians are called to do;
        Our Lord says "Love your God,
        And love your neighbor, too."

        Some people are easy to love;
         They are human rays of sun;
           They light up every life,
          And encourage everyone.

            You are in that group,
         So I sincerely want to say:
        You are often in my thoughts;
           Happy Valentine's Day!
