   Ways to Advocate

BREAK THE SILENCE…

       OVERCOME DENIAL…

                 END THE STIGMA…
United Methodist Commitment

           The 2004 United Methodist
          General Conference created
          the United Methodist Global
                  AIDS Fund.

The goal is to raise $1 for
            every United Methodist
         representing the commitment
of all of us to work towards an
                 AIDS-free world.
       Annual Conference Goal

Every annual conference is asked
to set a goal of $1.00 per member.

Annual conferences can choose to
keep 25% of funds raised to be
used in that conference for AIDS
work in local or global projects.
        Supporting Ministries
The UM Global AIDS Fund has
provided financial support to many
groups including:

St. Paul’s Methodist Health Center/HIV

Hospital ministries for testing, treatment and care at

       Ambassadors

The United Methodist Global
AIDS Fund Ambassador
program seeks people
dedicated to ending AIDS.
