   Dear Year 2 Parents

   I write with more exciting news for our Singing School! We have been selected to send a choir
   to take part in a schools’ concert in Salisbury Cathedral on the evening of Friday 24 February
   2012. The concert will be in aid of Barnardo’s, Britain’s largest children’s charity, so I’m sure
   you’ll agree it’s a great opportunity to help raise funds for them. The plan is that we will sing
   several items on our own and others with the whole group. I haven’t yet received details about
   buying tickets, but I do know they’ll be priced from £5 - £15.

   I had initially intended only to invite Y3 upwards, but so many of the Y2s sang so brilliantly in
   Prickly Hay that I’d like to extend the invitation to them. If you’d like your child to be
   considered, either talk to me or return the form below very, very soon, please!.
