customers. You should have a proven track record of using your own initiative and inspiring
those around you to achieve outstanding results.
To effectively manage all aspects of the store ensuring the best experience for our customers,
maximising all sales opportunities, adhering to company standards and inspiring the store team
through clear communication, effective development and deserved recognition so together the
store targets are achieved.
Ensuring that you, and all members of your team, provide the highest levels of proactive
Customer Service to every Customer at all times.
Maximising sales opportunities through your own and your team’s Commercial
Awareness of your store and your local environment.
Communicate and set daily and weekly financial targets for the store team.
Motivate and coach the store team to achieve financial objectives.
Ensuring that all members of your team are fully trained on all areas of product
knowledge relevant to your roles and that this extends to all new products.
Recruiting new members of your team as required. Ensuring that all relevant people
paperwork is sent to Head Office in good time.
Controlling all costs and wastage to maximise profit and contribution from your store.
Taking ownership and resolving customer complaints efficiently.
Ensuring that your store is adequately stocked and staffed at all times.
Ensuring that your store is clean, tidy and properly merchandised (including appropriate
stock rotation) at all times.
Ensure the store and employees comply with H&S responsibilities.
Ensure compliance company processes i.e. deliveries, merchandising, tills, banking,
stock, tasks from Head Office or Senior Managers / Area Manager
The security of your store, the stock, your personal belongings and the money in the till,
through constant vigilance, keeping doors locked, regular cash lifts and bankings.
Being prepared to work at weekends, Bank holidays, and during the Christmas and
Excellent customer service skills.
Using your own initiative to resolve problems.
Self driven and results focused.
Effective planning and organisational skills.
Inspiring team leadership including effective delegation of tasks.
Ability to coach, motivate and develop a team.
Strong commercial outlook with an understanding of the trading environment.
Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
