Outside reading assignments are required by the BCPS
curricula in English for grades 9 through 12. The         English 10 Honors
following lists were developed by the English                     Isabelle Allende, House of the Spirits
department faculty for use throughout the school year.
Students are expected to read one (1) book from the       English 10 GT

required by the teacher. Some teachers may wish all of
the students to read the same book; others may wish to
give students a wide selection of books. Individual                                11
