Built online courses to teach sales people and partners how to sell and use business and point-of-sale
products like receipt printers, check scanners, and professional projectors. Courses were comprised of
graphics, videos, Flash animations, and learning activities and were published using either Articulate Studio or
HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Sr. Instructional Designer (contract), PayPal, August 2010 – October 2010
Wrote content and assessments for online courses. Developed online courses and web application
demonstrations using Adobe Captivate and Articulate Studio.

Online Sales Training Manager, Apple Inc., October 2003 – April 2010
Managed a team of instructional designers and graphic designers who created online courses for a channel
retail training site that supported over 70,000 users globally. Met with global partners, Product Marketing, and
external business groups to establish global curriculum. Worked closely with editing, localization, and support
teams to ensure content was consistent and in alignment with curriculum goals. Provided business process
expertise, project management, and documentation for capital systems projects. Implemented virtual classes
on Adobe Connect. Created reporting system used to provide learning and engagement analytics by running
Oracle queries via PHP.

Course Developer (contract). Other highlights included providing the direction for the development of the .Mac
Learning Center and managing the instructional design team for Apple’s technical training classes.

eLearning Developer (contract), Cisco Systems, Inc., April 2003 – March 2004
Created e-learning modules to train customer service personnel on systematic changes to internal and external
ordering tools. Wrote objectives and validation tests, including questions, distracters and explanations.
Developed narrated presentations using internal tools, Qarbon ViewletBuilder, and Flash.

Flash Animator (contract), Stanford University, School of Medicine, July 2003 – October 2003
Received detailed drawings from medical illustrator and worked with subject matter experts to build interactive
Flash animations for usage in an online medical curriculum.

eLearning Specialist, Advanced Fibre Communications, Inc., September 2002 – April 2003
Worked with product managers and technical experts to develop both instructor-led and online courses to
teach the setup and maintenance of telecommunications equipment. Designed user interfaces, created
standardized icons, edited video clips, and shot photographs for online courses. Created graphics and
established styles to produce presentations, instructor guides, lab workbooks, job aids and hands-on exercises
