Essential fatty acids are required for the proper development of the eyes & brains of fetuses
& infants, thus are critical for supplementation during pregnancy. Most of the fatty acids in
the developing brain & eye are EPA (eicosapentanoic acid) & DHA (docosa hexaenoic acid)
Max-EPA contains EPA & DHA.

EPA has shown the ability in clinical studies:

   * To modulate those chemicals in the body which cause inflammation by acting as a
precursor to the series 3 anti-inflammatory prostaglandins.
