            HOMECOMING 2010 IS
            OCTOBER 22—23, 2010
The mission of MADD is to stop drunk driving, support the vic-
tims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) New Mexico is hosting its sixth annual
"Walk Like MADD" walk on Saturday, October 23, 2010 with opening ceremo-
nies beginning at 9:00am and the walk beginning at 9:30am. Walk like MADD is
                  MADD’s signature walk. It is a fun, community-driven, non-competitive 5K walk
that raises funds and saves lives. Enjoy a health and safety fair, kid's zone, survivor area, tribute
area and much more both before and after the walk!

Menaul School would like to have a few teams represented at the walk. Each team must reach a
$100 goal minimum by October 23, 2010. Menaul is fundraising at the school by selling:

        •   Paper icons for $1 and;
        • Wrist bands for $2.

All monies raised will help support Menaul’s walk teams. MADD has helped save 300,000 lives
and counting since they first started working to make our communities and roadways safer. In addi-
tion, MADD has saved 27,000 young lives through passage of groundbreaking public health laws.

        • Teen alcohol use kills about 6,000 people each year, more than all illegal drugs com-

Every step taken and pledge made will help raise funds and awareness for MADD’s programs and
services that will serve to keep our children and our communities safe. The funds we raise will help
people in our community by providing victim survivor support at no cost to victims, by teaching
kids to be smart and safe passengers by reminding people to designate a sober driver. “Walk like
MADD” helps MADD raise funds to support programs for both victims of drunk driving as well as
programs to help prevent drunk driving and underage drinking. If you would like to support Menaul
School and MADD New Mexico please contact Desirae Garcia at or
