Primary colors in light:
RED     BLUE      GREEN
   Secondary colors in light
      R + G + B = White

R+B=                B + G = Cyan
Magenta


          R + G = Yellow

 together which produce white.
Color of filter = color of light it
                  transmits
     (if the color exists in the light)
Color of object = color of light it
                   reflects
    (if the color exists in the light)
 Colors not transmitted or reflected
 are absorbed.
