Practice Reviewers, Quality Control Managers and Monitors within rms, and Mentors to newly registered practitioners
COURSE FORMAT
A combination of presentations and practical breakout sessions. Participants will be separated into smaller groups throughout the forum following each main session presentation to deliberate subject matter in an interactive format including case studies and solutions.
COURSE CONTENT
The presentations will cover the following topics: • Common de ciencies found in le reviews; • The varying roles of quality control managers, monitors and le inspectors; • The changing Canadian landscape; • Ethical issues – including independence; • Key dates to look for when reviewing the file; • Assessment of significant audit judgements; • Quality control systems and the role of the EQCR; • National standards, and how these link to international standards and each region’s requirements as a self-regulating body; and • Loss prevention activities.

This rate is available until October 26, 2009, and participants reserving after that date will be charged the regular room rate. Registrants who are unable to attend are encouraged to send a substitute from their organization in their place. Registrants who cancel prior to November 1 will receive a full refund. A $150 administration fee (plus GST) will apply to cancellations between November 2 and November 15. Cancellations received after November 15 will not be eligible for a refund. Written notice of cancellations and replacements must be sent to Amanda McGill at amcgill@cga-canada.org. Cancellations can also be faxed to Amanda McGill’s attention at 613 789-7772.
