A direct message sent within twitter in private to another person
you follow. Other followers cannot Sort of like texting.
* Don’t send Direct Messages to people that you aren't following
because they can't respond back to you.

RT or “retweet”
Use RT to share what the people you follow post.

Tinyurl
A service that shortens URLs so they
take up fewer characters in a tweet.
– (Twitter automatically shortens your links to
TinyURLs if they’re too long.)
Alternatives to TinyURL becoming
popular.
– Bit.ly – Shorter, & gives stats.
– Is.gd – Very short links.
– SnipURL (snurl.com)– simliar to TinyURL.

Putting a # in front of a word (no space). Can use to search and
track.

Sometimes Twitter saturates. Wait 10 seconds or so and it usually goes away!
