Lake Maxinkuckee Tournament Results
Our fourth event of the season took place Saturday, July 28 on Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver. There were 15 boats
entered. The weather was a little breezy, but all in all it was a beautiful day on the water. The bite turned out to be a
tricky one, with just 13 fish brought to the scales; 5 of those belonged to the winning team.
The next & final stop for the MWA will be Saturday August 18 at Winona Lake in Warsaw. We will launch from the
fairgrounds; teams are reminded that they will need to bring $5 for the launch fee. Hope to see many teams
participate.
The standings for Maxi are as follows:
3rd place with 1 fish at 2.50 lbs - Les Bontrager & Shawn Blosser
2nd place with 2 fish at 3.78 lbs - Don Shelton & Barry Ukele
1st place with 5 fish at 8.79 - Ed Szymczak & Stephen Szymczak
Big Fish of the day went to Les Bontrager & Shawn Blosser.
Thank you to all the teams that came out. Nice job to the top teams for a job well done.
