      Dear friends,
      We are pleased to invite You to the “Borovets Cup Aerobics Open 2011” – International
Youths Aerobic Gymnastics Competition from 11th of May 2011 to 16th of May 2011, organized by
Aerobic Union Bulgaria together with Sports Club”Levski - Yova Sport”.
      Please, find here enclosed information and conditions for participation in the competition.

       There might be some slight changes in the Provisional Schedule depending on the number of
entries. The Detailed program will be prepared and distributed to all participating federations with
the Work Plan not later than 25th of April 2011.

* Borovets is a very famous ski resort situated 75km away from Sofia with wonderful nature and
surroundings.

         Each federation must send 1 or 2 judges with a valid FIG brevet.

Q U A LI F I C A TI O N S
Each federation may participate in the Qualifications with a maximum of three competitors per
Category/Age Group. In case that there are less than 9 participants per category, no qualification is
necessary.

F I N A LS
The top 8 (eight) competitors from the Qualifications in each Age Group (12-14 and 15-17) and Category
(IW, IM, MP, TR and GR) will take part in the Finals (maximum two per category and nation).
In addition, if the organizing federation has not qualified competitors in any category, it may
nominate one participation in max.1 category in each Age Group of its choice.

TEC H N I C A L R U LE S
The competition will be held in accordance with the current FIG Technical Regulation and FIG
Code of Points 2009-2012.

FLOOR SYSTEM
The competition podium is an original Spieth podium, with a valid FIG certificate.

All forms must bear the official seal and signature of the respective federation and are accepted only
if accompanied by the necessary payments.

COSTS
The delegations have to cover themselves the travel expenses, accommodation and the entry fees.
P A Y M EN TS
It is absolutely essential that you fill in the entry forms in time and respect the payment deadlines.
50% of the accommodation must be paid to the Organizing Committee not later than 11th of March
2011, and cannot be reimbursed.
100% of the Entry Fees must be paid to the Organizing Committee not later than 11th of March
2011, and cannot be reimbursed.
The remaining 50% of the accommodation and local transportation costs must be paid to the
Organizing Committee not later than 15th of April 2011, and can not be reimbursed.

AWARD S
      A trophy will be handed to the winners in each Category and Age Group.
      For the Top 3 competitors in each Category and Age Group medals and diplomas will be presented.
      Diplomas will be presented for all the Finalists.
      A diploma of participation will be given to all official members of the delegations.
      If there is only one participant in a category, according to the Bulgarian Sports law only a
      diploma for participation can be handed.

* The official Hotel is 4 stars. In the above mentioned prices the guests of the Hotel can use free of
charge the swimming pool.

All bookings must be made through the Organizing Committee. For those delegations that did not
book their accommodation through the OC, the OC decline any responsibility for the local
transportation (from Sofia to Borovets and vice-versa). Those delegations and/or extra persons
exceeding the above mentioned maximum size of delegation will be accredited for the price of 40
Euro/person (accreditation and farewell party).

TR A N S P O R T
The Organising Committee may provide transportation to all delegation members from and to Sofia
airport, Sofia railway or Sofia central bus station to the Official Hotel in Borovets and back in the
official arrival (11th of May 2011) and departure days (15th of May 2011 and 16th of May 2011).
This transportation costs 20 Euro per person. This transportation should be paid to the OC not later
than 15th of April 2011.
For those delegations or member of delegations that do not arrive or depart on the official days,
upon request, the OC may arrange additional transportation. The cost for it depends on the number
of the people, the date and time. Please, send your request to the OC not later than 15th of April 2011
in order to be able to arrange transportation and inform you about the price.

VISA
Participants who need a special invitation or confirmation to obtain a visa for Bulgaria are asked to
fill in the Visa Request Form and return it to the Organising Committee not later than 11th of
March 2011.

INSURANCE
All participating federations are responsible for having the necessary coverage against accidents,
illness and repatriation. The Organizer will verify the Certificates of Insurance of all delegation
members upon arrival at accreditation.

MUSIC
For the musical accompaniment only audiotapes and CD’s may be used which have to be handed
upon arrival at the accreditation. For each category and competitor a separate audiotapes or CD
CLEARLY marked with the Name, the Federation, the Age Group and Category has to be
presented. (2 copies for each routine)

A D D I TI O N A L I N F O R M A TI O N
At the accreditation the Heads of Delegation must present the following:
   - Passports of all the members of the delegation
   - Insurances of all the members of the delegation
   - 2 copies of CD or tape for each one routine
   - National anthem
   - National flag
    - List of difficulty elements for each routine

All further information will be given with the official Work Plan not later than 25th of April 2011.
The draw of the starting order for the Qualifications and Finals will be done officially by the
Technical Committee of Aerobic Union Bulgaria on 25th of March 2011 according to the received
Definitive Entries and will be distributed to all participating federations.

REGISTRATIONS
All Registrations can only be made by the FIG Member Federations (Gymnastics Federations).
All entry forms must bear the official seal and signature of the respective federation.
