Course Overview
The Contact Officer Training for Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying Complaints workshop provides participants with an overview of the legislative framework surrounding the areas of unlawful discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace. The workshop provides participants with the practical skills to deal with complaints of unlawful discrimination, harassment or bullying in the role of a contact officer.
Target Audience
This workshop is recommended for supervisors, managers and those people appointed as contacts within their organisation for complaints of unlawful discrimination, harassment and bullying.
Learning Outcomes
It is expected that on completion of this training course the participants will: Understand what behaviour constitutes unlawful discrimination, harassment and bullying; Understand the levels of responsibility and liability for this type of behaviour occurring in the workplace; Understand the general principles of the role of contact officers; and Practise handling a complaint as a contact officer.
