To all Aftermarket Customers,
It is my pleasure to announce a complete restructuring of our existing sales force to focus on growing
sales and supporting our customers in the aftermarket effective on January 2, 2007.
For the past fifteen years we have had one sales force that handled all customers in a respective regional
territory. We are now dividing our sales reps into separate Aftermarket and OEM sales forces in order to
better service the respective customer bases.
The attached sales territory map will show you all of the new regions for our Regional Sales Managers.
While we are losing three sales reps to the OEM sales force we are gaining two guys that will help in
moving our aftermarket sales team forward. Please note that Canada is still vacant but be assured that
we are actively searching to find the right person to fill this very important role as a Canadian Regional
Debbi Howard has been promoted to a new role as OES Sales Manager where all of her efforts will be on
growing sales through the dealers for Freightliner, Paccar, International Truck, and Volvo/Mack.
Please welcome Jonathan Smith and John Spange as new members of the Aftermarket Sales Team:
Jonathan Smith will be taking over the Northeastern US territory in place of Allan Vincent who has
recently re-located to Michigan where he will cover a new territory. Jonathan brings a wealth of technical
expertise and product knowledge to the market as he has been a long time employee of Prestolite. He
has worked in various positions on manufacturing lines in our plants and most recently served as a
Technical Service Representative.
John Spange is an 18-year industry sales veteran who most recently worked for SKF as a Technical
Trainer. John will be relocating to the Salt Lake City, Utah area where he will have responsibility for sales
in the Western US states.
While some of the names of your Regional Sales Managers may have changed, be assured that we will
continue to service you better than ever. It is our intent to get stronger by adding guys with a technical
background that can assist our customers in growing sales together in the aftermarket. 2007 is expected
to be a big year in the aftermarket so be on the lookout for lots of exciting new things in the days and
weeks to come!
