Pickled Shrimp Recipe 2-3 pounds of shrimp, boil in Old bay seasoning 3-5 minutes, chill, and peel, set aside. 1 large red onion, thin sliced 1 large green bell pepper, thin sliced 1 cup Veg. oil (he likes peanut oil, better flavor; I like canola) 2 cups ketchup (I like 1 cup) 1 cup apple cider vinegar (he uses ½ to ¾ cup, gets too tangy) 2 Tablespoons Sugar (he uses 1 Tablespoon, gets too sweet) 2 Tablespoons prepared mustard (light handed) 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon seasoned salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 2 dashes of Tabasco 2 cloves garlic (mince as fine as you can) 2 Tablespoons lemon juice 2 Tablespoons horseradish (raw/peeled, comes in a jar, NOT prepared) 2 Tablespoons seafood seasoning (Old Bay) Mix together with shrimp, chill for 4-5 hours. Stir it up good & Serve COLD.
