Monday 8 10.00 – 12.00 Meeting for Mentors – Feedback and update
Thursday 18 10.00 – 12.30 The Challenge of CPA (Cancelled)
Friday 23 9.30 – 12.00 Dealing with Casework
Also through the month, 5 of the newly elected councillors completed training
Arising from this came the request for visits to wards to identify important
issues and the opportunity to meet key people. These are being co-ordinated
by Community and Housing. The work will probably be undertaken on an Area
basis and experienced councillors will be invited along to update their
knowledge and provide additional insights.

4.1 The review of mentoring revealed mixed uptake and the general feeling
seemed to be that it was a fairly informal process.
A further review will take place in November.
