							The University uses Verizon Wireless and AT&T Mobility for cellular service. Cellular plans are chosen
based on planned and actual usage. IS&T will assist you in determining what plan is best for you and will
periodically review your plan for appropriateness.

For Verizon – The University takes advantage of Verizon’s New Jersey State contract for special pricing.
The state contract provides for a 20% discount off of Verizon’s regular plans as well as additional plans
specific to the state of New Jersey.

For AT&T – The University uses the group purchasing organization’s (Premier) contract to support
iPhones. The Premier contract provides the University with a 25% discount off of
AT&T’s regular plans.

You can determine what plan you are on based on your monthly call detail report. Additional features
can be added if needed for items such as text messaging, international calling and international data and
voice usage. The plans are provided below. Please note that rates are subject to change. Contact IS&T

Verizon Plans:

       1) For VOICE ONLY PLANs (non-smartphones) –The majority of user accounts were moved to
          a shared “pooling” plan of $14.99 or $25.00 (except for users who are on the special minimal
          usage plan of $9.99 or the current $22 plan). This plan allows you to share minutes, but you are
          still under a special State of New Jersey plan and calls must originate from the Tri-State area as
          noted below. Roaming fees will apply when calling from outside of the region but usage patterns
          were reviewed and revealed significant savings even if subject to limited roaming. See below for




           more details on each plan:
2) For VOICE AND DATA PLAN (A Blackberry/SMART phone) – The majority of user accounts
   were moved to the new Verizon State of New Jersey plan of $54.99. This plan covers both voice and
   data, the minutes are shared (Pooled) but you are under a special Verizon State of New Jersey plan and
   calls must originate from the Tri-State area as noted below. Roaming fees will apply when calling from
   outside of the region but usage patterns were reviewed and revealed significant savings even if subject to
   limited roaming. See below for more details on each plan:
