  By Gennifer Choldenko
                 Intro
Have you been to Alcatraz Island?
How would you feel if your parents moved to
an island with a lot of criminals?
Well, a kid named Moose Flanagan had that
 happen to him.
                 Genre
The genre of this book is historical fiction
because it was based on a real place, but
 included fake people.
      Main Characters
~Moose Flanagan
~Piper
~Natalie
~Annie
                Setting
The setting takes place at Alcatraz Island.
                   Plot
Moose Flanagan, a twelve year who had to
move to Alcatraz Island with his family
because his dad was a prison guard. His
sister Natalie can’t go to a regular school
because she is autistic and the special
school she needs to go won’t let her in.
Moose learns how much you are willing to
 do when you love someone.
             The Scale
I think it was a 3 because it wasn’t to easy
  and it wasn’t to hard.
  What Attracted Me To The
            Book
It attracted me to the book because I have
read other books by Gennifer Choldenko.
What I liked and what I
          didn’t like
I like when Moose asked for his Tuesday
   game from his friend.

I didn’t like when Moose got in trouble for
the laundry business when he didn’t do
   anything.
