                  USBs
 Startedin 1995 with Intel
 Standardized connection method for the
  computer
 USBs started the business of “on the go”
  devices.
           From the USB
 From  the USB we get countless convience
  devices.
 We can now connect our digital camera to
  our computer and upload photos
 We can power and update our iPods
 The Mac’s keyboard and mouse are USB
  connected
               Bluetooth
 Provides a personal area network to
  connect and exchange information with
  your convenience devices
 Helps out with computers, cell phones,
  headsets and more
                    PDAs
 Term first used to describe the Apple Newton in
  1992
 Used for many things like scanning barcodes for
  business or accessing the internet on the go
 Developed further into a Blackberry, basically a
  PDA combined with a cell phone.
 PDAs have also joined with another
  convenience device, the GPS, to make
  navigating the car much easier
                 iPods
 iPod cornered the market in 2001
 Digital media players were weak
 Uses the USB and Apple software to run
 Have stepped into the realm of PDAs
           Car Navigation
 You  can now plug a GPS and map your
  route out
 The Garmin shows actual roads, is
  Bluetooth compatible, and has text to
  speech
 Also used for in car entertainment
            Conclusion
Most of our “on the go” devices came out
of the connection made possible by the
USB. From iPods, to car navigation, these
products make our life easier. These
sciences are only just beginning to. USBs
and getting more memory, iPods can now
make phone calls, and bluetooth is
extended their network.
